Attorney Powers has been practicing law since 1984. Her practices focus primarily on Estate Settlement, Estate Planning and Elder Law.

She is a native of the Pioneer Valley where she was born and raised, graduating from Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont and pursuing her Juris Doctorate from Western New England University School of Law.

Mary started her career as a trust officer for Bank of New England West preparing estate plans for various bank customers while working with their legal and tax consultants. She then continued her experience at Monarch Life Insurance Company, where she provided legal support and documentation on various life and disability income plans.

In 1993, she opened her own Estate Planning and Elder Law practice. Here, Attorney Powers has become an expert in Estate Planning and Elder Law issues both as they relate to MassHealth applications and the creation of Trusts—Revocable, Irrevocable, and Special Needs.
